Diplom Ingenieur Architect
University of Stuttgart
After receiving his German architecture, degree in
1997 in Stuttgart Alexanders work was awarded as
best diploma project in the year 1997. He gained work
experience in Germany.
Alexander Rieck worked for Wenzel + Wenzel in
Germany and was involved in the design of the ICE
train station in Frankfurt Airport.
He also joined the design team of KTP for the
Volksbank Pforzheim.
In 1998 Alexander Rieck was asked to bring
his creativity and experience of Virtual Reality
environments in the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial
Engineering in Stuttgart.
In his career as a scientist in one of the world’s
leading research organisations, Alexander Rieck
expanded the common knowledge in the felds of
Virtual Reality.
He also developed scenarios for the work of the
future.
The latest research projects dealt with telematic
technologies for the traffc of the future and research
for future construction in the building industry.
Besides the research approach, Alexander Rieck
was responsible for several well published offce
development projects like the IUHD for Deutsche
Telekom in Ulm and the Headquarter of Landesbank
BW in Karlsruhe.
Currently he is responsible for an innovative building
for the Fraunhofer IAO.
In his work Alexander Rieck contributes futuristic
scenarios with innovative ideas to buildable projects.
He has experience in leading multidisciplinary teams
with the use of latest technology.
